OUR COMPANY OWNERS: Wally and Nancy Walker
Wally Walker was born in the bustling city of Detroit, Michigan, in the late 1940s. Even from a young age, Wally exhibited a remarkable aptitude for academics, ultimately graduating from Redford High School. His journey into the professional world began with a unique role, servicing air quality sampling equipment for the US government during his high school years.
Following his graduation, Wally transitioned into the automotive industry, starting as a driver at Tamaroff Buick. Through dedication and hard work, he swiftly climbed the ranks, securing a position as a Parts Counter Man. It was during this time that Wally’s personal life took a significant turn as well. In 1970, he married his lifelong sweetheart, Nancy, marking the beginning of a dynamic partnership both in life and in business.
As homeowners themselves, Wally and Nancy quickly recognized the potential of real estate as a means to build wealth and secure their financial future. Their first foray into property investment began with their own home, which they transformed into an investment property after residing there for five years. This initial venture ignited their passion for real estate, leading them to delve deeper into the industry.
Driven by a shared commitment to empowering individuals to achieve financial independence through real estate investment, the Walkers have become instrumental figures in Our House Property Solutions. Despite a brief setback in their real estate endeavors, Wally’s enthusiasm for the industry remained unwavering. Returning to his roots in the automotive sector, he honed his skills over the next four decades at Tamaroff, steadily progressing from Parts Man to Assistant Manager, and ultimately assuming the role of Parts Director. Alongside his career in automotive, Wally continued to nurture his passion for real estate, owning rental properties and engaging with renowned figures in the field such as Fortune Builders, Joe McCall, and Lee Arnold.
